Skiing in Gulmarg

Receiving the highest snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Gulmarg boasts of its snowy meadows. Well, not just this, but these snow blankets also entice the skiing enthusiasts to swarm this region and satiate all their adventure quests!

In this program, you will learn basic downhill skiing, snow plough (pizza!) and stopping. And if Akshay feels you've picked up the skills quick enough, he may allow you to join the Phase 1 team that will ski down from Kongdori!

If you're not keen on skiing you can just sit back and relax while your family or friends keep busy. You can simply sit at the top of the slopes and sip your kahwa, while you watch them swoosh down the slopes, or take the Gondola up to 13,056 feet (3,979.5 meters) and take in the view. There's more than one way to enjoy Gulmarg!
